Keep going guys and gals.  I know right now it seems like it takes forever, I felt the same.  Took me 750 hours in one year.  But once you are done you get to enjoy things like this:
I flew to Jekyll Island, Georgia for the day.  I left at 6:00a.m. and arrived alittle before 9:00a.m. (by car it takes 6 and 1/2 hours from my home in North Georgia).  By 9:00 I rented this great little electric car right at the airport.  I got it for the day.  The airstrip is right on the island.  No contol tower.  Easy to get to.  I spent the day walking the beach, playing tourist, having a great seafood lunch, and went all over the island in the little electric car.  At about 4:30 headed back to the airport.  Got out of there at 5:00 and home at 8:00p.m.  Cleaned up the plane, unpacked, and logged my flight.  Got home, a quick sandwich and then slept like a baby.    :D  :D  :D
The Escapade did fantastic.  Found out that my butt has a three hour limit in that plane.
Here is a pic of the airstrip.
Now look at the pic and get back out there to your plane and work!

Dennis!

Thanks again for your continued inspiration!

That kind of trip is exactly what I am building
this plane for.  My wife & I really like Charleston,
which is about a 3-1/2 hour drive for us.

I can't wait to take my son up, too!

Thanks again!

Johnny C!

Thanks Johnny,
My wife loves Charleston.  Maybe plan that one for the next adventure.
Hope to see your plane soon,
Dennis
