Has anyone out there had problems with sticking or over pumped lifters? I have had re-occuring problems with loss of compression that appears to be related to sticking lifters. Lockwood aviation says that this is impossible and that only poor valve seating could cause this. However, after having the valves done, the problem presists. Further, the problem occurs sporadically - no compression upon starting, then shut down, turn the prop through and magically I have good compression again. HELP!!!

I believe I know what your problem is.   Private message me if you want to discuss what I went through with my rotax 912uls and fuel tanks not properly cured.
