| Can anyone give me some names of distributors for alluminum, sounds like some of you guys are getting your supplies at pretty reasonable prices. Also, do any of you actually have your a-planes built and flying yet? |

HI,Im Building I believe the first A-plane in the UK. To meet the deregulated spec. it must be under 115kg.(254pounds) the basic fuselage frame standing on its wheels weighs 114pounds add to this 54poounds for wing tubes and struts + 88 for Rotax 447 =265pounds
this is without propellor ,instruments, fabric, paint ,controls, cowlings and tank. Does anyone have the same problem?. I would be grateful to see a breakdown of other builders weight schedule. thanks. |
