It says to use "suitable lube".
What is being used, good ol' soap and water or something more? |

Dave,
Do you mean for putting the two wheel halves together and tube/tire together? I used baby powder (talc).

| I have a wheel leaking and the factory said to coat both sides of the seal with "ez-turn" before re-assembling. It's the same stuff that goes on the gas filter threads for the tanks. I'll give it a try soon. Got the plane out for the first time on it's wheels yesterday. It was a good motivator! |

Thanks for the tip... I was actually just about to put them together to make moving the fuselage easier!
Where'd you get the EzTurn?
In the meantime, I'll look in the local auto store I guess. |

| I just looked it up yesterday and the only place I can find it is Aircraft spruce and one other place. It comes in either a 5 oz tube or a much larger can (maybe a quart-don't remember). In researching I also founs something called Bakerseal that was recommended over and over again for all other types of seals like the brakes, iol lines, and pitot static fittings. I'm going to order both of them out of Aircraft Spruce today. About $10 for the EZ Lube and $5 for the bakerseal. |

I wish I could remember the name {at work right now} of the tube of tire lube that I bought at the local auto supply store. It just is a small tube of stuff the guys at the tire place use when installing tire/rims. I also used it to keep the rubber carb boots soft. Worked great! So, I would just check at your auto store.
