first flight n308tp

Post by billy5823 »

got my inspection monday and weather was bad here. but this morning was doable. so everything went well, took aboput 15 minute flight, came back down and checked over and flew another 15 minutes or so. had to hold a little bit right stick so this evening i put one turn in on the left strut and flew again but was pretty windy it seemed to help though . it performs great and has to be the easyest plane to land in the world.  I will try to get some pics pretty soon . and as dennis said keep building it is worth it . oh by the way 7 months 13 days  and i was in the air.  over and out billy

Congrats Billy,,,,want to see those pics!  Hey, you need to fly it to my airport in Cleveland now.  I would love to take a look at it.  If you want you could fly in on a Saturday, then we could fly together out for lunch at my favorite eating hole at a local airport {Winder}.  Just let me know.

shrink-to-fit

Post by KevinC »

Assuming you are using a windows machine:

open windows explorer or my pictures or my documents - wherever your pix are filed
find the picture file
right click the filename to 'open with'
choose microsoft photo editor
the photo file will open - click 'save as'
add something to the end of the filename - like "000_0133a.jpg" - the 'a' added so you don't overwrite your original
at the bottom of the save as box click 'more'
adjust the jpeg quality slider bar at the bottom to about 25
click 'save'

that should do it.

Good Looking Airplane

Post by Wes »

Billy,
That is one handsome airplane, - nice work!
I especially like the setting, - turf and grass.
We would love to hear some of the performance numbers once you get them.
So go fly off them hours and Enjoy!

Great paint job!
Is the strip on the side painted or a decal?

Great paint job!

She's a beaut!

Congrats!

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.
