Landing gear bungee boots

Postby gme9261236 » Sat Jun 21, 2008 7:19 pm

What have you guys done for landing gear bungee boots on your taildgraggers if anything? Not sure if you could just buy a J-3 boot and if it would fit or not but that idea has crossed my mind.

I made my own.  Sewed up a pouch, velcro closures.  Not perfect, but keeps the exhaust off the cords.

Thanks for the input guys. Now that you mention it I didnt mean to exclude you with your reverse taildragger. I neglected to remember that they both use the same main gear with bungees and the only difference is that in the tri gear the mains are further back.

Dennis....how much if you dont mind?$

I'm about to order a set myself.  Was also wondering the cost.

I can't remember how much the covers were.  I bought several things at once and of course did not get a ticket.  Just give them a call and ask.  Here is the final product  :D
Take care,
Dennis
