Waiting for the DAR,,, Haven't painted the cowl yet. Making sure the engine is cooling properly. Broke the motor in on a hot day and all went well. Hope to fly it this weekend.  Sure do like the sound of that engine!!

Your plane sure looks good.  Is all that beautiful mowed lawn your runway? I can't imagine anything sweeter than grass for getting used to your new plane. :)

Thanks Steve, yes that is my run way. 60' x 700' all grass as you see it. New hanger to. I have lots of room for parking and camping on the grass. ( 4 acres ) it's really nice except once a week when I have to mowe it!  I have a fly-in breakfast in June, lots of RC modelers come and fly their models to. I have a auction after breakfast and then we just do what ever we want,,,,,,, fly fly fly. You arn't that far. I'll give you the GPS cor, try to make it next year,,, be sure to bring that new Highlander.

Gary,
I am envious for several reasons...

Be careful & keep the pictures coming!

John
There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

Beautiful paint job!  Who designed the scheme?

Please post new pics when the cowl is painted & you have your spinner.

paint

Post by Gary H »

Thanks Kevin,
I will post more pictures when I get it done. I'm pulling my hair out right now with this tach    Didn't know that you could have so much trouble finding a tach for the Jabiru 3300!  Steve Dentz designed the paint scheme, if you look at his it's the same just different colors. Not real easy to paint but it was worth it. Still haven't flown it yet,,,,,, waiting for a tach that works.
If anyone knows of a tach that will work please let me know. UMA---OUT,, Others???????
