I finally get to add pics of Lima Charlie!
This is my first solo landing.

Image

This is the day I flew it to my home airport.
Scott's bird next to it & Harry flew up with us
in Juliet Alpha.

Too long coming, but what a ride so far!

Be safe!

John
There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

Hey, John,

Since I finished my plane in '13, I haven't been on the forum nearly as much. I am so glad to see your years have finally come to you enjoying your work. Great job. Wish everyone weren't so far away from AZ. Would love to see it and meet more of the names I remember. Only met a few at Oshkosh last year.

We do have an invitation out for any of you travelers to stop over here. The plan is to for you to land at CYRM, which is Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada. Then we can decide if you want to use our strip.

Did Scott, Gary, and Tyler make it back to Alaska?
What was their average Cruise Speed?
I love the Photos of the Highlander & Superstol, beautiful planes.
Did they have any Flying issues, mechanical issues on their flight?
I’m a SuperSTOL want to be.

Here is my SuperSTOL. Still needs the cowlings painted. Came in at 848 pounds. Oratex, 130 hp Rotax 914, G3X touch with ADS-b in and out FIS-b weather and traffic. Night certified. Garmin Virb between the gear and sends to the G3X screen in real time. Helps with taxi and for great videos. Really happy with the engine temps.
