Is it just me or are the wings pictured narrower than in true to scale?

Thanks!
I started out with line drawings which I assume were to scale, but with all the tweaking I've done I might be off now.  The wings seems a little narrow and the fuselage seems wide.  I'll check them against the dimensions published on the JA web site.

I guess that's one advantage of building a "virtual" Highlander.  If you get it wrong you just squash or stretch it until it looks right!  :)

Update:  I checked the dimensions.  My fuselage was a little too fat but the wing chord was correct.  The narrow wings allow the plane to be "highway legal" when folded.  Maybe the high aspect ratio also helps STOL performance.

Kevin,
 That looks great!

Is it possible to do curved lines?
How about non-parallel straight
lines?  Starbursts, etc...

Absolutely.  I can do anything a "real" painter can do.  I just slapped on the straight line color scheme because that is about the easiest to do (and I kinda like the way it looks).

I'll do some more tweaking of the shape, then generate more paint schemes.

Hi Kevin

The white with red and blue trim looks great!!! You could open a business doing this -- custom designing paint schemes. (I don't like the one with the huge tundra tires, though -- It reminds me of me -- rotund!!

Have a great Christmas and New Year

If you haven't seen a Highlander in the flesh with the big tires, it doesn't look much different than that!  My brother kept referring to them as "toon tires"

I'll probably "borrow" a couple of these and play around with some colors, thanks
