Flaps and Ailerons

Post by juliant »

Hi All
have just started on my flaps and ailerons.
I note a slight twist in both when laid on a flat surface, is this what others have noted and does it need to be rectified ? I also note that on the outside of the last rib it isnt glued(on the outer side) is this correct?

thanks and Happy New Year

Hi Julian
The ailerons & flaps have a twist built in when the wing is jigged as the wing is also.(washout)
They are set and glued as a matched set and should be marked!!
The end rib should be glued, you have hysol with the kit (the end rib cannot be reached in the jig with the glue gun).
Hope this helps
