Flying pictures

Post by taildrgfun »

I was asked if I would post some pics. I have put a few on here before but I don't know if any of these are duplicates or not. Sure had fun flying yesterday landing at lots of fun spots. Hadn't done any dead-stick take offs for a while so I got in one of those too. It is really fun coasting down a 35 degree hill thru weeds and sagebrush with the engine shut off. (not a recommendation, just telling about some of my fun) I have 1016 hrs in this plane now. If I were to build another plane I would probably build another one of these and make every effort to keep it as light as possible.

Thanks Steve!
If you want to put some of these
in the tacked thread, that would
be great!

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

If I flew as badly as I run a computer I would have been dead by now. I will try to get them in the right place.

Steve,
Cant remember which one but I get flying and plane and pilot magazines and one of those two mentioned you in an article. I will try to find out which one for you if I recall but it was in the articles and it mentioned checking youtube and typing in "highland dead stick takeoff"

You are getting there in popularity, you must be getting close to a free set of steak knives by now.

Yeah, you must be *really* computer illiterate! Somehow when you posted the third picture, you made the horizon look like it's running vertical!  :D

great pictures!

The horizon is vertical. I was in a VERY steep turn flying through a canyon with a friend when she took this picture. I just thought it was funny that she got the vertical horizon and my "panic button" together in the same picture.
