THANK YOU VERY MUCH LYNN

Post by Uwe Jens »

Hi guys,
I want to express in public that I am so thankfull to Lynn.  She came all the way to Ecuador for training me on my Highlander.  She is an amazing person, it is incredible the passion and giveness she has towards the Highlander aircraft.  She is a GREAT pilot and knows the aircraft really well.  I think people like her are the ones helping others to make their dreams possible and really appreciate being alive.  I can´t really find the words to express all my thankfullness and appreciation I have on her.  The only thing I can say is that this world would be so different if there were more people like her.
Once again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH LYNN,
Your new friend and bro,
Uwe and family.
PS: this is the video when Lynn scared the hell out of my employees in Ecuador.

My Ecuadorian adventure

Post by Lynng »

So this crazy guy from Ecuador who doesn't know me from Adam says, "hey, why don't you come to Ecuador and fly my Highlander".  It was the best time of my life. The moment we met at the airport I felt like I had known them forever. :D  Uwe and Sol are passionate about the Highlander and have built an airplane that would win every award at the shows if they lived here in the US. Flying at the high altitude was a great test of the airplane and I was amazed at the airmanship Uwe demonstrated during our training. The high mountain flying and weather combine to make his region a challenging environment and I think he taught me as much as I taught him.

Uwe, I promise to study my spanish every day until I become fluent.

Thank you for your hospitality and your kind words.

Hugs to Papa Uwe and Bobbi. :D  :D  :D

All,

I am glad that Uwe got a thorough (sp?) check out in his Highlander.

Thank you, Lynn, for offering your services.

When I die, please let me go peacefully in my sleep - like my grandfather...and not screaming and crying like the passengers in his airplane!

Uwe,

Hows the flying going?? Hugs to all.

I will try to see if I can find a good wireless connection to Skype at the show.
