New Exhaust

Post by Lynng »

As with the gear change the new exhaust will require NEW HARDWARE. You need to shim the engine mount away from the fire wall at least a 1/2 inch to have any clearance. Also order longer engine mount bolts and be prepared to reroute wires, water hoses and electric components depending on your setup.

Good luck!

Lynn, not sure you saw my post on in the Sun N Fun section but I was wondering Lynn what exhaust are you putting on? I'm getting tired of the 4 in 1....TOOOOO LOUD! I wish I knew then what I know now about that exhaust!! Is it the new 4 in 1 that Aircraft Exhaust is building for Just?

The exhaust I put on my plane I got from Aircraft Exhaust. If you want to roll your own, you can build a PVC mockup and they will make you an exhaust form that.
