ZK- SKP nears completion!

Post by juliant »

Hi All
Getting close, just waiting on the CAA inspection
Initial weigh empty, no fuel was 280Kg (617 lbs) and Cof G @ 254 mm (9.4")
Had a taxi round the padock and seems to steer quite well, had to cover up the oil cooler to get the oil temp up.
Cheers Julian

Nice job!  That is a good looking plane.  How did you manage to taxi around without taking her up for flight?

I flew tonight, weather was perfect, 70 degrees, no wind, air was solid as my recliner.  We have more green grass than I can remember, and water everywhere.  Very different from the drought we were having.

Get it done and get it flying.  You have earned it.

Thanks,
Was tempting, but lack of tail dragger experience probably precludes me !! Looking forward to getting a rating though!

Congratulations! You did a great job keeping it light. What engine did you use?

Wow, mine came in at 100lbs heavier with the Rotax 912uls.  Good job.

Nice job Julian.

Be safe & enjoy.

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.
