This airplane makes operating out of backcountry strip soooooo easy and safe it makes me want to leave tomorrow for Idaho.

Last year Troy told me he wanted to have a Highlander Fly-In sometime in Idaho.

I say Great Idea!!!

Notice how he just puts the wheels down firmly right after the ditch that the trail has formed for LDG and yanks it off just before the ditch for TO.

for Mogas?   No Mid Grade?
And why?

I use prem mogas because that is what Rotax recommends. Once in a great while I have used a little 100LL because it was all I could get on a trip. A friend of mine uses mid-grade in his 912S and seems do do ok. I wouldn't be afraid of it if it was all I could get.
Looks like I get to go back up to Johnson Creek this Saturday. I hope to meet a bunch of the people from the BCP site.
