Rotax 912-914 series runing limits

Post by Uwe Jens »

Hi Guys ,
Please check out this Service letter from Rotax, about correct loading of the propeller to the engine, specially the ones who like to run the engine with low RPM during take off to gain a better cruise speed.

Regards Uwe/.

Thanks for the heads up, Uwe.

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

Thanks for the info.  I am pretty close to the rpms on take-off.  Will check to make sure I am at least 5200.  Everything else I already do.
