Hi, I may have made a big mistake. I ran short of aircraft wire for the lights so I used some wire I bought from Radio Shack. It's in the wings and closed in. Is this a problem? They are both 18 gauge but the Radio Shack wire has a little more insulation making it a little more weight. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks, JR

It will work a lot of people do it but it will give off toxic fumes in the fire. Jak

Re: Wire for wing lights
I would only be worried about running it up under the panel since it's in the cockpit.

Re: Wire for wing lights
Thank you all for your help. If fire is the only problem, I plan to use the good aircraft wire inside the cab.
