I have the wings on for the last time before paint and noticed when they are folded back the trailing edges do not line up horizontally. They are off by a good 1.5 inches. They wings were set at the factory but I assume that didn't include adjusting the rod end on the trailing left strut. Before I start lengthening the rod end just wanted to know if this is normal. The rod end is the way it came from the factory, turned in most of the way.
Thanks
Gary

Re: Standard Highlander Wing strut adjustment
Gary,
You need to match the adjustable wing to the fixed wing using the adjustable rod end. But that is done during the final assembly of the plane. Its not done at the factory.
I used a digital level under the fixed wing at the strut attachment and matched that angle at the same position on the adjustable wing.

This difference doesn't mean a thing it is normal for this to happen. don't worry about it at this time make your adjustment after you fly and see if you have a wing heavy situation then make adjustments. Jak

Steve and Jak,
Thanks for the replies, I'm not going to adjust anything at this time.
