Highlander wing

Just watched a video of a Highlander build and I noticed a plastic strip being installed on the leading edge, I assume it gives a better airfoil profile?? Does it work? Can it be fitted to an Escapade?? Where do you get it from??

I'm pretty sure he got that form Kitfox (and they will not sell you one now)
