locking tail wheel

Post by orenjr »

Would any of you builders have pictures of the control you fabricated for the locking tail wheel.
Not sure where to install or how to make.
Thanks! Oren

I just looked at one at the factory. They used a clone of the manual trim mechanism, mounted on the other side of the flap handle.

I do not have a fuel valve so I installed two levers side by side on the triangle plate one for the parking brake and one for the tailwheel with both levers down or forward for takeoff. In addition I added a 12 volt plug at the bottom of the triangle.

I put in a Ray Allen electric servo for pitch trim so Adam used the pitch trim lever for mine. Hope that helps

Cheers,
