door and window security
What is everybody doing for security locks on the doors and windows on highlander aircraft? I did a search and did not come up with much.

With wife and gear, not much room for dog, and I already have the glock, looking for locks just to keep the honest people honest, the real thieves will break in anyway. RLM

Re: door and window security
I have thought about a lockable
bike cable tied to the doors and
access through the window.
The best arrangement is don't
get out of eye sight.
And lastly, a Walther & a dog...

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.
I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

Re: door and window security
For security when parked, I chose weather-resistant 304 stainless steel cam locks from McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com/13105a76). They come with three different lock arms and are keyed alike.
I plan to bend a base flange on a piece of .032" T6. It will be riveted and epoxied to the door frame. The lock will mount through the Lexan and the aluminum.
Search McMaster for "locks" and you'll get a bunch of others to consider.
