I'm getting interference between the elevator clevis and elevator horns. Not sure if others are running into this but the opening in the elevator clevis is .263 inches, the thickness of the 2 elevator horns is .289 thick. If I remove the powder coating I can take off maybe .010-.015 inches. I am still look at about .010 inch interference.
Any recommendations on what to remove? I'm hesitant to remove material from clevis ID or elevator horn.

Re: Elevator clevis too narrow
The washers on the sides of the clevis is welded there so there is a surface to grind on to make the parts fit don't be shy grind a little off both sides until you get the fit you want if you want to repaint the grinded area remember paint is sometimes 20 thousands thick so remove enough material the first time.
