Fabric shrink, rib distortion
I'm installing my wing tips. It occurred to me that the manual says to install small blocks of wood between the #1 rib and the fuel tank to prevent the rib from distorting while shrinking the fabric. Has anyone had a problem with the #9 rib distorting while shrinking the fabric? I'm concerned about the alignment changing between the nut plates on the rib cap the screw holes in the fiberglass wing tip. This is for the Highlander wood rib, not SS.

John,
I was a little concerned also but everything lined up fine after covering. As long as you installed the braces per the manual you should be fine.
