wing & fuslodge repair

Post by barry9315 »

Is it feeable to fix damaged wing by reverse bending then reinforcing sub structure. i had a hard landing which forced my kolb mark 3 to tip on left side bending 5' end of wing at a 45 deg. also broke the 8" aluminum fuslodge 3/4 of the way through. can the fuslodge be repaired by sleeving it by overlaping and welding break with aluminum sleeve?

This probably isn't the best place to ask questions about a Kolb. Try posting on the Kolb forum on WingsForum (http://www.wingsforum.com/viewforum.php?f=180) or the Kolb forum on the Matronics List (http://forums.matronics.com/viewforum.php?f=5).
