The "Almost" Alaska Trip

Post by Wes »

I've been wandering in my Highlander most of the summer and put down some of the experiences in a blog:
http://www.travelpod.com/travel-blog-en ... /tpod.html

My good friend CarolAnn and her Rans S-7 shared in the adventure. We took different routes and timing to get to SD, then would meet up again to cross into Canada.
Our different routes caused great confusion for the auto-generated map on the blog site, so ignore that cob web of red lines.

To read the blog entries, scroll to the bottom and choose from the 'timeline'. I still have the last two drafts in the iPad to upload. These will get me home to FL.

The Highlander is a really fun airplane to hop "around the patch", but it is also a joy to fly across the country!
