I'm looking for a set of Escapade Landing gear and a set of 9 gallon fiberglass wing tanks. I was hoping those of you that have swapped out their small tanks for the larger might still have them hanging around. We would prefer to have the newer 9 tanks made in the last 6-7 years just because the glass is a better.

Hi Steve.
My old tanks were made 10 years ago and are now unairworthy. I am unwilling to even give them away.
You probably knew that.

Alan, what do you mean by unairworthy. Do they leak or can't be refitted into a wing for some reason.

Re: Escapade landing gear and 9 Gallon fuel tanks
I changed them out because of a small leak in the port wing. Also, during the annual condition inspection immediately following the replacement, my cleanable fuel filter revealed a fine powder the same color as the fuel tanks.
In other words, the tanks are desolving. While the leak might be sealable, I wouldn't count on the tanks remaining structurally intact in flight.
Unairworthy.
