Super STOL gear leg / shocks

I was wondering what other owners experiences have been with the shock absorbers on the SS gear...
How often have you needed to add pressure?
Nitrogen PSI @ approx. 330lbs. For off airport operations?
Any special advise for adding or lowering pressure.
What type tank set up and regulator/FITTINGS do you have?
Has anyone lost all pressure suddenly (like Would happen on my 310 in cold weather)?
How often do you check pressure personally?
Or.... Don't worry much about it... They are very reliable and you've never had an issue... Don't worry about setting yourself up with the tank, regulator and fittings to add gas.... Not worth the expense... Just pay to have it done when you need it.....

Do not release pressure in the shocks unless they are in the same position they would be as if they were mounted on the aircraft due to fluid loss.
No problems with sudden pressure loss in 15 months. Air temps have ranged from 0 to 95 degrees.
My pressures are @ 300 psi on mains and 275 on tail.
If your shocks are not "traveling" enough on landing you will know. You can see how much they "wiped" the travel area during the landing.
For $20, your local A&P with IA will handle the charging pressures.

Thanks Ed.... no-one responded to that post... info was enlightening! My airplane is a bit heavy for a SS... probably a bit more pressure in mine... I'll try to post a video/pic to show the height they are at currently when airplane is static.
