I've tried twice to install the 1/4 X 4"ish brake line on the dual brakes. I buggered it up both times. Do any of you have suggestions? I was thinking maybe a heat gun, or turning the B-Nut as I work it in.
Thanks in advance

Re: Marco Lower 1/4" Brakeline
My kit came Matco double puck brakes with 1/4" brakelines. I wasn't happy with the 1/4" brakelines because they are so stiff so I replaced them with 1/8" brakelines which was a big improvement. I ordered the new brakelines and fittings from Matco. They also sell a kit for installing 1/8" brakelines between two brake calipers. I would recommend replacing everything on your system with 1/8".
I haven't installed the second set of brake calipers yet. I know two people that have flipped over their planes in the last year, one of them a Just Super STOL. Both of them while landing, one on gravel the other on pavement. I have a fair amount of experience flying tail-draggers off different kinds of surfaces but I think I'm going to wait to install the double puck brakes until after I'm done with phase 1.

Thanks John. After a second look, I figured out how to install the 1/4 in line. I very seldom use brakes in the cub. So I'll start with that method during phase one.

I forgot to mention that my lines are 1/8 in throughout, except the Tie between the calipers, they are 1/4.
