That is one great looking Super STOL! Snip, snip...

Duh, I meant HIGHLANDER. anyhow, what a great Highlander!

Don't feel bad I read your Highlander, knew it was a SuperSTOL & then I went on to type Highlander in my post. DUH is right!

Ok, now that it's not just me that was confused... I want to say that Fred's new Highlander with the SUPER STOL paint scheme and the open tube extreme gear with big bush wheels does look a lot like a Super STOL. I had actually forgot how much the Super STOL and the Highlander look alike. So kudos to Fred for building such a great example that at first glance it fooled the best of us

Guys, it's not really that surprising. After all it is painted with the Super STOL paint schema that has been used on nearly every Super STOL i have seen. I had to take a close look myself because I was thinking SS but realized that the posts kept mentioning Highlander. It is a good looking Highlander though! Joe B

Came in at 727lbs!
(That’s with an added locking tail wheel and T3 suspension).

N912FH had it's first flight today. Very happy with how the plane handled, straight and level hands off.

I used a DAR associated with the Richmond Virginia FAA office. His name was Brooks Smith, went smoothly no issues. Would definitely recommend him. Later went to Richmond to get my repair certificate and was granted it without any trouble. The FAA inspectors in Richmond have a good interest in experimental aircraft.
