Hey Guys,
.
.
For a Stock Mount.... Watch Earl's video... it should help...

.
When I bought my engine , it came with the mount.
The dynafocal mount was on a stock Cessna 152 ...
So I set-up "the Board".... The same one that has been used to mount the Bushings on the Fuselage...
Then used to match those holes for the Landing gear mount....
I mounted the landing gear back on the board.... My lines and Datum have already been drawn...
.
Since this isn't a fresh start.... I simply positioned the mount where it goes...
I'm center on the Datum , and I've measured the distance I need from the board...
My Oil Filter will have 1/8" clearance ( UNSCREWED) from the Firewall....
The 0-235 is a heavier engine than the stock 0-200 per print... So closer is better...
.
After Height and position have been figured out.... I secured it in place with some all thread and a 2X4
This held it SOLID while I fit some tubes...
I'm mounting it like Jim Clement does on his Tailwinds. It looks like a Strong Mount.
Note the curve I put in the lower tubes to get surface to surface welds....
DON'T DO THAT...... Well, don't do it like I did....
You'll need to put that bend in it.... But cut the tube at the bend... The surface can be welded...
and there is no bend in the tube....

.
Gotta Fly...
