Need to keep motivated?  Check this video out of Lynn's Highlander doing some STOL's.  Here is a clip from her site and 1 of 2 youtube video clips.  One takes off from grass, the other the hard surface.   :D

"I had a chance to fly my Highlander both days for a short demonstration and had fun taking off and landing across a closed section of the 150’ wide runway. Many people had fun pacing it off and we all agreed the longest takeoff roll was less the 125 feet. Of course the landings where short, running at about 80 feet on the grass. We shot some good video and I hope to post something on YouTube soon. One note to you builders out there, I had not installed my VG kit on the main wings before the show so I will be running some more Takeoff and Landing tests after I complete the install and will let you all know."

I'm not sure that helps me so much. I met
Lynn at the factory earlier this year when
she was working on here wings. I am so slow!

But it sure does look great.
What engine did she use?

Does she post here?

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

met Lynn

I met Lynn at Wahalla.  Use to see her up there any time I went.  She worked pretty fast and did most of the work herself.  She has a rotax 912S installed in her plane.  Nice lady.  She is a commercial pilot.  Sweet job.  I was there when Troy was painting her plane also.
