Wing inspection holes

Post by KevinC »

Besides near the pitot/static probes (and AOA probe in my case) are there other places that need an inspection hole reinforcement ring on the wings?

thanks

Is your AOA probe and system completely separate from your pitot/static system? If so, how far apart are the probes? Also, I don't see why JA runs the static line all the way along the pitot line. Why not come out the side of the fuselage like so many other airplanes do?

Can you get to your 4 wing pulleys well enough without an inspection plate on each?

inspection plate

Post by scubarider2 »

The only inspection plate I put on the wings was for the pitot placement.  I can get to each of pulley with the hole already cut.  I did put a ring on each of the gas cap holes though.
