Continental 0200 Update

Post by cutoff1 »

We have completed the assembly of the engine and have mounted it on the fuselage. The cowling has been completed, and we are now working on the instrument panel. We thought you might like to see photos of the engine and cowling.

Nice Job.  I just went back to read the O-200 thread on the board this morning and was wondering what the status was.

Wow!  That looks fantastic.  I think that your plane will be great.  I think the 0-200 would be a fun powerplant on the Highlander.  It will look and sound like a real airplane.

Your installation looks very clean and professional. how have your WB calculation/projections turn out? I think with this setup if it is light enough, may be a more than viable alternative to the Rotax/Jubaru setup. Thanks for the update.
