airleron cables

Post by gme9261236 »

After 16 hours needed to adjust cables to center sticks, with the sticks centered the return cable at the turtle deck is snug and the flaps are even with the airleons, with full right stick the return cable sags about a half inch, with full left stick it sags about an inch and a half, any tighter on the return adg. they start to bind, Is this about normal thanks Glenn

I don't remember which way but I know mine does sag more when the stick is clear over one way than it does the other way.  Have lots of hrs on it and it has not been any problem.

Troy was looking our plane over a couple days ago and said that could be caused by having more movement on the ailerons on one side than the other. Make sure the slots for the ailerons are cut out enough so they don't bottom out.
