The material used in Just Aircraft fuel tanks is a glass reinforced Isopthalic resin. This resin has passed UL1316 which subjected the material to :
100% ethanol @ 100 degrees F for the equivalent of 270 days.
This material is currently approved through out the country for underground fuel storage tanks by the standard bureaus of many states.

Thanks Harry, that is excellent news. Can you tell me how long the tanks have been made with this material? That is for those of us who bought tanks a few years back. I believe my tanks are fine but it would be nice to know for sure.
