Corvair College 17
Obviously I'll be needing an engine, so it's time to go get some learnin' on.
I spoke to William Wynne today and it turns out that Corvair College #17 is going to be held just north of Orlando a few weeks from now. http://www.flycorvair.com/hangar.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has the details about the event. Basically this is a big, two or four day Corvair Conversion workshop, fly-in, seminar, and party.

Re: Corvair College
Do they have a turbo &/or FADEC system ready to go for that engine?

Re: Corvair College
There are some turbo setups out there. FADEC and fuel injection has been kicked around before but I don't know that anyone has actually done it.
The thing I like about these engines it that you can build an air cooled, 100+ hp engine, for under $5,000.

Looks like there are already some videos up from CC17. I'll post my own pictures later.

Hey Sean,
Did you get any thoughts from WW as far as putting a Corvair in a Highlander?

William said it would be easier if I was building a Kitfox V because it has been done before. So he encouraged me to take a look at it. That said, he is going to help with the firewall forward package for the Highlander if I do choose to build it. I'm all but sure that I will be building the Highlander but, I am still looking at all options until Sun-n-Fun.dauckjl wrote:Hey Sean,
