Mounting oil tank for the rotax 912s

Does anyone have good ideas where to mount the oil tank for the Rotax 912s?  I see some behind the engine on the firewall, and some on the side.  What do you use for a mount?  I will be using the toucan exhaust from Cornell Aero.

I actually hung the engine and got the cowls fitted together and about ready to drill and cleco to the fuselage.  Not sure  how far behind the prop flange the cowl should end up.  What do some of you end up with?  Any photos of the space from flange to cowl?
