What prop are Highlanders that fly using?

I am waiting on a Kiev, but may switch to a warp drive

Dave,

I'm using a Warp Drive, three blade, 70" blade length, with the aluminum hub and fiberglass spinner. I forget the exact size spinner. I have always gotten excellent results from this propeller and I like the way it looks, too. I bought mine at S&F this year, about $600 total.

Alan, N1010Z, 84 hours and still no problems.

I am using the rotax 912 uls, 100 hp.  I hope that the warp drive 70" standard blade works well, I cancelled the Kiev order and have the warp coming.

Yesterday the UPS man brought me the propeller.  I could not believe it made it so fast.  5 days including a weekend.  That is great service.  The Warp Drive propeller is a nice looking set up.  I chose the small polished aluminum spinner.

Now I am ready to try the propeller on the rotax.  I have not done that so am unsure what I am doing, there are directions.

Rotax 912s, any suggestions for the degrees of pitch?  I recall someone saying 12.

I asked the company rep @ S&F about the pitch with the 100 hp Rotax and he told me
13 degrees. I tried that first, but it wouldn't let the engine rev to redline straight and level.
I then reset to 12 degrees and all is well.

See my spec list elsewhere.

Alan,
What RPM do you get with full power on the ground?  Static RPM was 5250, 12 degrees on the 70" Warp drive 3 blade prop.

I am not sure what target RPM I am looking for.

I get 5400rpm static full throttle. On climb out I get about 5500rpm.

Not flying yet, but going with a 3 blade in flight adjustable IvoProp pulling a 4 cylinder Turbo intercooled Suzuki.
I'll let you know if it actually flys...
