I saw it at the factory (being built) a couple of months ago. Same paint scheme and the red and silver demo plane, but substitute lime green for the red. Sorry, I didn't take any pics of it. :(

Gary said they he flew the plane down to Sun N Fun 2014. Any one have any pics from the plane at the event?

Pictures were taken by a friend of mine who attended the event. He was impressed with the 29" tires. What can I say.........

I like that panel. I've been looking at the MGL and Dynon products and as great as they are I've just about decided to go with the same as Troy. I think I'll add a VSI, I find it very handy to monitor sink and lift when flying in the mountains.

I concur, except my preference is AOA instead of VSI. I'd make the panel VFR: scattered to broken, 60% or more of the panel unobscured by instruments.

Is the cowling lower on the SS than the Highlander?

That's the longer Jabiru/Rotax 914 cowling. If you look at the position of the prop in the cowling, it looks like the cowling is installed lower, especially when compared with the same cowling in standard position (the second pic -- of Highlander N669KK -- is flipped horizontally for ease of comparison).
