Attach bracket (F-1020) for Horizontal Stabilizer

Post by Bay State Flatlander »

Building the Highlander (kit #331) and mounting the horzontal stabilizer. Recent post from Tralika and the manual(pg 13 fig 10.1) show the bracket with single hole for AN4-11A. The bracket supplied with my kit has two holes, the second one would fit an AN3. Thinking I'll drill threw and attach but am not sure if it is for something else. Has anyone else come across this? Thanks

I think they upgraded the attach point on the superstol and likely just using the same parts for both now.

Troy is exactly right. The part was upgraded and the manual never got changed. Mount as it says in the manual, and then drill the extra hole and bolt it in place.
