Oshkosh planning

Post by preacoupe »

Hi everyone,

For those going to Airventure this year, is there a spot for parking? I know Just displays at the ultralight strip. Would we park near there, or over at the LSA area? Homebuilts?

Flying from AZ. Hope the weather holds up.

You can park either in the homebuilt area, or if you land at the ultralight runway, you can park there too. Your choice. Obviously, just read the NOTAM and choose.

I'm going; picking up my dad in La Crosse, Wis. and driving over. We'll be there 1.5 days and will make sure it's when the Valdez STOL guys are there. Look forward to meeting up.

Hey, Gary,

Will look for you. Barb and I will be there and are looking forward to the STOL stuff too. I think the Valdez happenings are on Friday at the ultralight strip.

What I was asking was that if Escapade/Highlander people were going, are we thinking of parking together at one place or the other? I think I'm leaning towards the ultralight strip, but if everyone is someplace else....bummer.
