Dane: My J/A forum has been down, tried to reply about the success of the flap "stopinfloppin" springs !!! Great Job--Worked just like I hoped !!! Easy on, and takes the fear out of a "breeezy" time folding the wings. Downwind taxi will benefit as will tie down on the ramp. My biggest concern has been testing the flap leaver during flight with the extra tension on the detent system during landing and or takeoff. I'm happy to report that initial tests seem O.K. in all three positions. Hope your rudder "mouse trap springs" are in the works and as successful. CHEERS, Ted

I know you are "double sprung" so I will be anxious to hear feedback from those who are torsion only, just want to be sure they have enough force.
I'll be working on the rudder springs soon, I like your "moose-trap" moniker for them!

Not a problem, I am not sure how the flap mechanism on the SS works, but I know it is much, much different than the std highlander.

Don't wait, they only take a few minutes to install and results are immediate !!! Rudder springs will take some time to install. I'm so happy Dane took the time to develop the "cure" for this annoyance and market this "stopinflopin" device at such a great value. Woo Hoo !!!! Thanks Again Dane. Trilander Ted

Also, I'd like to have all stainless attachment hardware and pay the extra difference please if possible.

Just to be clear, you want SS bolts, washers and nuts? I'll have to look into that when I order the next batch of hardware, but I'll have to check on the SS an970 washers. The bushings are an oilite bronze with additional iron in them so they are silver, and a little harder. To be honest I use them because they are a bit cheaper, but I can get some regular oilite bronze bushings on the next order if you like. The bolts and washers are the biggest question, but I'll get them if available and let you know the price difference, though I'll have to wait until my next hardware order.

Many thanks, yes we use all SS hardware wherever possible. No rush, I think I've got enough practice to stand looking at wind-blown-down flaps a little longer....
