Troy was given some nice recognition at Airventure. The August Raspet award is presented every year to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of light aircraft design. That puts him in the same company as Phil Lockwood, Harry Riblett, Dan Denny, and Burt Rutan.
The Superstol put on a hell of a performance and made the popular Carbon Cub look like it shouldn't even have been in the contest.

I got my Highlander kit at Oshkosh ( ordered ) in 2003 that I had no idea what kind of "growing pains" the J/A folks would end up going through (I know it's been very extensive ) and look at them now !!!!! A lot of dedication was pored into this company and now look at Troy "bask in the glory" of his dream !!! I'm so happy that there vision did not go unnoticed, WOOO HOOO Troy and J/A
