Another long wait is over. Lima Charlie Fly’s!

Post by Johnny C! »

After too many years & Saturdays, Scotty B
took Lima Charlie for a lap around the patch
at Clemson last Friday evening. I have a radio/
wiring issue to address, but Scott said the air-
frame flew as expected.

Thanks to everyone at the factory, employees
and customers for the fun, encouragement,
and help. Special thanks to Gary & Troy for
a great platform, to Jack, Scott, Dennis and
the rest of the gang for the all of the help.

It took too long to get here, but the journey
has been a blast.

Be safe!

John
There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.

I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

Thanks Dennis.

I am not sure when we will
try it again, but hopefully Friday
or Saturday afternoon or evening.
I have to work on the radio wiring.
I hope that goes well & corrects the
problem and then we'll be looking at
more air time.

Later!

John

Congratulations on sticking with it, also on the innovative paint job.

John,

We've never met, but I have watched your progress since before I began my project four and a half years ago. Great fortitude and persistence. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Scott & I met at Clemson again yesterday.
Scott always says he likes the way my
plane fly & he said he is always surprised
at how fast it gets off the ground.
I am looking forward to finding out
for myself, but patience is a must!

We made up another squawk list,
nothing major, but that's just the
way this process works. I'm getting
closer!

'Geat news, John! I hope you're soaring with the eagles now. Thanks for encouraging me when I'd just about given up. How's your "net seat" working? Wishing you many Happy Landings, Bob
