I am about ready to start the wiring of my Super Stol and was wondering if anyone could post pictures and diagrams of your wiring.
Thanks! Oren

I just used the wiring diagram in the rotax manual. I used all pullable breakers and jumpers on terminal blocks for the main bus powers. Is there anything specific you need help with?

Troy
I am looking for different ways to use fuseblock instead breakers .Pictures that would give me Ideas.
I would like to keep my panel simple and light. I am planning on using the Garmin Touch.
I will see if I can get the wiring diagram from Rotax. I bought my 914 used with approx 140 hrs.
Thanks! Oren

You can get the Rotax 914 Installation manual (IM-914) on the Rotax factory site at http://www.flyrotax.com/. Click on Tech Support, then Technical Publications.

Here's the direct link to the current manual: http://www.flyrotax.com/portaldata/5/dokus/d04273.pdf.

I am just uploading a video of the finish product explaining the panel too. It should help. Likely a couple of hours or so before it is live. :D

If you wanted to use a fuse block I would mount it to the inside of the panel with slots in the panel to be able to replace the fuse in flight. I only use fuse blocks for none flight effecting instruments, but this way you can still do something while airborne.

I got them from Vans Aircraft. Can't remember the supplier. They work great.

Sorry I don't know how to post a link, but if you search "electrical schematic" you will find another post on this subject and danerazz has a link to a nice fuse block that can be panel mounted. I didn't want panel mounted fuses so went with 2 surface mounted fuse blocks (one is the "main" the other is the "avionics".) Steinair is a good source for these, plus they have tools, connectors and AC quality wire. They sell some burly buss bars that are good for the ground-buss.

Would any of you have pictures behind the panel of your wiring. The Superstol does not have much space for the efis and switches. I am moving my panel out approx 2" to increase space in front of bracing.

In the posts of my Superstol build there is a picture from behind the panel. I used standoffs with long bolts and Adel clamps to support the panel.
