insurance

Post by DaveU »

What are people finding for insurance?  Are you getting insurance?  I got a quote and they are requiring 5 hours dual and 5 hours solo before They will insure me.  I don't see how that is practical.  I don't have a lot of flying, but 90 hours total and 26 of it tailwheel.  I thought that would be ok.

Price was over $2,000.  I am not sure just what I should do.  I am thinking maybe liability only.

Hey Dave,

We went with liability only.  Not much of an option about hull also, it's just too pricy.

I think AUA and Avemco were about the same price.

I'm going without because I can't afford it & I don't do anything wrong when I fly anyway.
If somebody wants to bring suit against me, it'll be a lot of work for nothing for both them andtheir lawyers.
I don't even own an airplane, I just fly them.
