Lima Charlie needs a bath.
What to use?
And is Plexus the right product
for the Lexan? I ran through a
small rain shower yesterday, and
I would like some sort of Rain-X
coating, and thought Plexus might
make the water bead up.
Let me know.
Thanks!
John

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.
I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

For years I have used Lemon Pledge for lexan on certified and homebuilt windows. It removes bugs well even from the leading edges and leaves a nice slick coating.

Frank Knapp told me he just power washes his Lil Cub, but it is covered with Oratex. I'm not sure Superflight would hold up...

Yeah, we use heaps of Pledge on the Lexan and a Citrus based cleaner (10% with H2O) on the fabric. Seems to soap up well and shifts the grit.

Grant,
Can you be more specific on the Citrus based cleaner, you mentioned?
Thanks!
