First flight of N617KM
First flight to my pleasant surprise was uneventful. I was anticipating a heavy wing, engine power problems, pilot control problems, non of them appeared and it was a nervous but pleasant flight which lasted .5. I am currently passing the 10 hour mark.

Congratulations Wayne!!!
Glad to hear it was uneventful. I am hoping for a boring first few hours as well.
I am close behind you. After this next week, I will schedule my FAA inspection with the FSDO.
Keep us posted as you work through your first phase hours.

I have Lima Charlie up to about 50 hours
now. An oil change is the next big task
in front of me.
Other than running down some vibrations &
antifreeze leaks, it's all been good so far.

There are many things that happen really fast when you are
flying an airplane. There is no sense in rushing any of the others.
I would much rather be looking down at the runway, than up at it.

Congratulations Wayne!
My wife says a man flying an airplane he built for the first time has as to be the closest thing to him personally experiencing child birth...so I'm glad it went well for you
The more you fly your plane the more you are going to like it. These are amazing airplanes.

Congrats Wayne! I know the thrill well. Now go out and enjoy as often as you can.
Johnny! 50 hours and you have not flown over to see me? I am disappointed. We have a fantastic 3000ft runway. Surely by 50 hours you can land in that length by now.

I'll land cross ways!
It is getting time to roam about
more. I need to stop by & see
Scott & Jack. I think Scott needs
my help now!
Tell me where you are located.
