Question for the Rotax crowd:
I'm replacing my oil lines. I'm thinking it is a good idea as I'm finding a fair amount of cracking and found a 'rub spot' I've been missing at inspection time. I've never liked the bend just before the oil pump - it is right at the safe radius bend limit and an area I've observed cracking. I'm interested in the ingenious solutions others on the forum have found to this problem.

Re: Oil line replacement
Hi Kevin,
When I installed the Oil Thermostat I had Aircraft Specialty make up the oil lines.

Gary,
Getting closer on this project.
Where does your oil pressure sensor connect to the engine? Did you use the remote mount sending unit?
thanks

Re: Oil line replacement
Kevin,
I did install the remote oil pressure sender. The oil pressure hose connects to the same spot the Honeywell sender was originally installed. The remote sender is a simple VDO unit mounted on the lower corner of the firewall.
Traveling this week but can send a pic this weekend if needed.

Re: Oil line replacement
Kevin,
I don't have a great shot of the remote oil sender. If you would like one I'll it take this weekend when I have the cowling off. I just clocked the 90 degree fitting on the oil pump to clear the fitting.
