What range of pressures are being used in the main struts and what are you using as a reference for your pressure?
Thanks Wayne

Re: Main strut pressure
Hey Wayne,
Id have to go out to my shop to look in my records to see what I have in my shocks right now, but I need to let a little bit out as they are too stiff. As far as measuring, I use a digital refrigerant gauge set that I purge with nitrogen to ensure its clean. It works great. I did have to machine down a nitrogen chuck to fit into the recess on the Acme shocks, which was kinda a pain, but I got it done up and works fine now.
Hope that helps a little.

RE: TK-1 shocks for the SuperSTOL.
tony@TK1racing.com told me to start with 300 lbs. on the mains. Which I did.
Tailwheel shock is about 275 lbs, also per Tony at TK-1 Racing.
I had a local A&P w/IA to pressurize them at a very nominal cost.

Re: Main strut pressure
I am running 425 lbs in my front struts and 300 in the tail wheel and it seems to be about right when my gross is about 1500.
